Join Coming Out Support on Fridays for a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. This group is open to anyone in any stage of the coming out process. Topics include emotional support, building self-esteem, recognizing internalized homophobia, escaping the “double life,” coming out to loved ones, exploring cultural taboos, morality, and religion, forming meaningful relationships, developing your “gaydar,” celebrating intimacy, and understanding community diversity.

Queer Parenting Group

A support group for queer families, however individually defined. Ideal age range of the children is pre-conception to age six. As parenting topics evolve as children age, all are welcome, but topics will be most relevant for younger children. Children are welcome, however childcare will not be provided. The group is facilitated by a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) and parent of two.

Haweya

Haweya is a social group that welcomes Middle Easterns and other ethnicities and races who share similar cultural background including East Africans, South Asians, Armenians, and others. We welcome friends and allies from all backgrounds ages 18+ who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, as well as those questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression and straight allies. Haweya focuses on providing support to LGBTQ+ Middle Eastern+ people and fostering a sense of community amongst them and their allies. Our discussion topics will range from spirituality to sex, relationships to health and more.

Men Over 40

Men Over 40 is a group for gay and bisexual men to gather for social chats, dining, and activities. Outside The Center, on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, Men Over 40 gathers at various eateries for dining and socializing. Events are planned and structured by individual group members and participation in the planning process is encouraged.

Small group sessions are 6 weeks customized by age and/or gender. During each session group members will focus on a skill and learn specific strategies.
